Manchester City comfortably defeated Brentford 2-0 to go 12 points clear at the top of the English Premier League.
Riyad Mahrez scored a penalty in the 40th minute before Kevin De Bruyne sealed the win in the 69th minute after yet another dominant display by Pep Guardiola’s side.
City leads the points table with 60 points while Liverpool are second with 48 points with two games in hand. Meanwhile, in other matches this morning, Southampton stunned Tottenham 3-2 while the match tween Aston Villa and Leeds United ended in a 3 all draw.
