Manchester City racked up a 19th consecutive win and created English top-flight history by chalking up a 12th straight away victory with a 2-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League last 16.
Pep Guardiola’s side were in imperious form.
Cohesive and full of confidence, City’s fluid, flexible approach and constant movement saw them dominate possession and impose the game on the Bundesliga side throughout.
It’s now 26 matches unbeaten, with their last defeat coming in late November away at Tottenham, and 19 victories in a row.
Since then, City won 23 and drew 3, scoring 61 and conceding just seven.
This was City’s 12th successive win away from home in all competitions, moving them ahead of the previous record also set by City between May and November 2017.
