160 food packs have been distributed by the Make a Difference – Fiji group to the people of Yalava and Tabia in Labasa who have been affected by Tropical Cyclone Yasa.
Director Renzy Snowsill says they are also delivering 50 stationery packs and 160 seedlings to the community.
She says the food packs will last a family for about 3 to 4 weeks and it consists of flour, rice, salt, sugar, tin-fish, diaper and milk.
Jakir Hussain of Yalava community says most of the houses in their community have been damaged.
He says they are thankful for the assistance provided by the organisation as it will benefit the people.
