“We are excited!”
Those were the words of William Waqanibaravi, the leader of the famous local band Makare who will be performing at this year’s Fiji Showcase.
Waqanibaravi says they agreed to perform at Fiji Showcase after receiving an invitation from Total Event Company manager Loretta Jackson to be part of the biggest trade show in the South Pacific.
Waqanibaravi who is known as ‘Bigwilz’ said they are all looking forward to rocking the stage and they have a surprise for all their fans.
The Makare band members include Bigwilz, Phil Dakei, Simi Rova and Felix Chaudhry.
Makare’s first album has been a big hit from last year.
Makare will be performing at the entertainment stage next Friday.
Fiji Showcase starts midday this Friday and will run for nine days at the Vodafone Arena.
