The Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority said major milestones have been achieved as far as tax revenue collections are concerned for 2009.
FIRCA Chief Executive Officer Jitoko Tikolevu said they surpassed the revised projected revenue by 24.1 million dollars and collected more than 1.212 billion dollars last year.
Tikolevu said it was also a record year for debt collection last year.
