The Former Commanding Officer of the 3FIR Unit Major Manoa Gadai has become the first senior officer to be posted as a Defense Attaché to New York by the Republic of Fiji Military Forces.
Gadai said he is responsible for all peacekeeping operations undertaken by the RFMF, Police and Corrections Services.
Major Petero Talemaivatuiri is now the new Commanding Officer at the 3FIR Unit.
Speaking at the Commanding Officer handover ceremony, RFMF’s Land Force Commander Colonel Sitiveni Qiliho challenged Talemaivatuiri to improve the standard already set by Gadai.
