Vodafone Fijiana XV Head Coach, Mosese Rauluni says their main goal at the upcoming Oceania Rugby Women’s Championship in Brisbane is to win every game and qualify for the 2025 Women’s World Cup in England.

Rauluni says they can’t take any team lightly.

The winner of the upcoming tournament automatically qualifies for the 2025 Women’s World Cup in England.

The coach says it is a very important competition and their main objective is to qualify for the World Cup.

He says their first big test is against Tonga next Saturday as they will come in strong as teams will be hungry for a World Cup spot.

The Fijiana team is mostly made up of the Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women’s team with the inclusion of Brumbies lock Doreen Narokete and Queensland prop Iris Verebalavu.

Other teams participating in the Oceania Rugby Women’s Championship include Samoa and PNG.

The Oceania Rugby Women’s Championship will run from 24th May to 2nd June in Brisbane.
