Chief Magistrate, Usaia Ratuvili has ruled that former Fijian Ambassador to the US and Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs Solo Mara has a case to answer.
Mara is charged with one count of Disobedience of Lawful Order and one count of Giving False Information.
Mara allegedly disobeyed a search warrant on the 24th of January this year.
While delivering his ruling, Chief Magistrate Ratuvili says after considering the evidence before the court, there is a case sufficient to put the accused to his defence.
The matter is adjourned to 4th February next year.
