History has been made for the Macuata side after beating Nadi 17-13 in their second round of the Skipper Cup competition this afternoon at Subrail Park, Labasa.
Macuata Assistant Manager, George Ravei says the boys prepared well after their loss last week against Nadroga and they have been trying their best to improve today.
Ravei says Nadi gave them a tough game and it is something that they worked hard for to create history in today's game.
In other results, Suva beat Lautoka 28-21, Naitasiri defeated Tailevu 25-19, Nadroga thrashed Namosi 41-24, and Ba beat Yasawa 38-28.
In the U20 results, Suva defeated Lautoka 30-11, Nadroga beat Namosi 28-10, Naitasiri defeated Tailevu 13-10, Nadi edged Macuata 18-15 and Ba thrashed Yasawa 51-14.
In the ANZ Marama competition, Namosi thrashed Nadroga 58-10, Suva defeated Lautoka 36-7, Nadi beat Nasinu 37-22 and Naitasiri beat Tailevu 37-15.
In the Royal Tea Ranadi results, Namosi thrashed Nadroga 60-15, Suva dominated Lautoka 66-12, Nadi thrashed Nasinu 79-0 and Naitasiri defeated Tailevu 26-15.
