Delays in payments from larger companies were some of the concerns raised by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises during the MSME conference at the Grand Pacific Hotel.
While responding to queries, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs Manoa Kamikamica highlighted that this is a new Fiji and anyone who comes across this should send details to the Ministry.
He says they want a fair playing field and can not have an economy that takes advantage of smaller businesses.
The Minister says he has been hearing about the issues of corporate bullying however there have been no official complaints of it.
He is encouraging entrepreneurs to provide specific details of such acts to the Ministry and he will deal with it himself as the Ministry of Trade does not muck around about such issues.
