MOU drawn up between Fiji Police and PNG Police

Discussions surrounding how Fiji could assist PNG Police with peace keeping training were held today between PNG Police Commissioner Gary Baki and Fiji’s Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho.

A Memorandum of Understanding focused on peace keeping training has been drawn up and is now awaiting approval from PNG authorities.

Fiji has already agreed to the Memorandum of Understanding.

Fiji’s High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea Esala Teleni also attended the meeting along with Commissioner Baki’s delegation.
