MOH driver who allegedly issued forged vax cards, curfew passes and sick sheets remanded in custody

47 year old Livai Caginavanua Tuvuki and 55-year old Sairusi Ratusega.

47 year old Livai Caginavanua Tuvuki who is alleged to have issued forged vaccination cards, curfew passes and sick sheets has been remanded in custody.

Tuvuki who is a driver with the Ministry of Health is charged with one count of theft, one count of giving false information and 3 counts of giving forged documents.

He will be appearing in court again tomorrow to provide two suitable sureties as the two that came today were both younger than him.

Tuvuki between 2021 to February 2022 allegedly issued curfew passes, vaccination cards and sick sheets without the authorization of the Ministry of Health and Medical Services.

Meanwhile, 55-year old Sairusi Ratusega of Nadera who was charged with one count of possession of a forged document has been granted bail.

Ratusega was allegedly found in possession of a fake vaccination card under his name when in actual fact, he was not at any time vaccinated.

He will appear in court again on the 20th of April for plea.
