Discipline is the key focus for the under 18 Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School rugby team as they prepare for their Vodafone Super Deans national quarter final, and try to win the Deans trophy this year.
In an interview with fijivillage News, MGM High School Principal, Sanjay Raman says the team is dedicated and is training every day after school.
Raman says the team has improved on their ball-handling errors that was seen in the last game against Nasinu Secondary School in the final of the Southern Zone Competition.
The Principal says they are not facing any big challenges after looking at the fitness of the players, and he is also grateful that there are no major injuries in the team.
He says the team understands that they are playing against the U18 Western District winners, Ratu Navula College and they have left no stones unturned during their training session.
MGM will play Ratu Navula next Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium. In other quarters, Queen Victoria School will face Marist Brothers High School, Nasinu Secondary will face Tailevu North College while Cuvu College will take on Ratu Kadavulevu School.
