After a good performance at the U17 Vodafone Fiji Secondary School Rugby League quarter-finals at Garvey Park, Tavua yesterday, the MGM Dragons U17 continued their dream run in the competition by booking a spot in the national semifinals after thrashing the Vatukaloko Cowboys 2 28-2.
The MGM Dragons U17 will now face their toughest challenge as they will play the QVS Knights in the semifinals next week at 12.30pm.
Meanwhile, all draws are settled for the national semifinals with the Lelean Bati facing Ba Pro Dragons at 9.15am, while the RKS Eels will play the QVS Knights at 10.15am in the U15 grade.
The first U17 boys’ semifinal will be between Ba Methodist Saints and Ba Pro Dragons at 11.20am while in the U19 semifinals, the RKS Eels will face the Nasinu Panthers at 1.45pm and the Naitasiri Warriors will take on the Ba Pro Dragons at 3.15pm.
The Vodafone Fiji Secondary School Rugby League semi-finals will be held at Ratu Cakobau Park next Saturday.
