The Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School U18 rugby side will be looking to create another history this week when they take on Nasinu Secondary School in the Vodafone Deans Southern Zone Secondary School Rugby final.
MGM High U18 Manager Hotashwar Padarath says they are really proud of what the boys have done for the school, and they will work on the mistakes they made against Suva Grammar.
He says they have played against Nasinu before, where they lost, and they know that Nasinu will bring their A-game this week.
Padarath says they are not taking anything lightly and hope to come out victorious this Saturday.
MGM High School had a historic achievement last year, winning the Southern Zone U17 championship and then the national U17 championship by defeating RKS 16-15.
MGM High School will be competing against Nasinu Secondary in the U18 Southern Zone final, while Marist Brothers High School will play against Suva Grammar School for the third-place playoff.
The Southern Zone competition will take place at Buckhurst Park and HFC Bank Stadium this Saturday.
