Loud music, waving flags to be monitored by LTA/Police

Waving Flags from cars and buses, the behavior of students, vandalism and loud music in buses will be issues monitored by Land Transport Authority and Police Traffic Department as the much awaited Coca Cola games kicks off in less than two hours.

LTA Chief Executive Officer, Naisa Tuinaceva said they met with the Fiji Bus Operators Association, the drivers and the Police yesterday with the objective to make the Coca Cola games safe for everyone.

Tuinaceva said drivers have been briefed to communicate with the traveling students and to be in control of the situation adding that LTA and the Police will not hesitate to discipline students who refuse to listen to the drivers.
