Fijiana 7s star Reapi Uluinasau has been listed as one of the five players to look out for in the Toulouse 7s this weekend.
This is the last women’s event for 2022 HSBC World Rugby 7s Series.
Uluinasau helped inspire her country to a bronze medal win in Tokyo last year.
Despite missing out on the tournaments in Malaga and Seville in January due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, the 27-year-old has been a hit in her first season on the circuit.
In Langford, she topped the DHL Impact Player table with 13 tackles, eight breaks, nine offloads and 25 carries as Fiji finished seventh.
Uluinasau scored six tries across that weekend to take her tally to 13 in only 16 matches.
The Fijiana 7s team’s first match in the Toulouse 7s is against the USA at 8.14pm Friday.
They will play Australia in their second match at 4.06am Saturday and meet South Africa at 8.14pm Saturday in their final pool game.
The women’s cup quarterfinals will start at 3.42am Sunday, the semifinals will begin at 11.30am Sunday and the final will be played at 3.56am the following Monday.
