56-year-old Timoci Lolohea who is charged with one count of murder and one count of criminal trespass, appeared in the Nasinu Magistrates Court in the last hour.
Lolohea who used to run a security recruitment agency, allegedly murdered his defacto partner at Nasilivata Street in Nadera on Monday.
The 24-year-old woman who was allegedly stabbed several times by Lolohea at the Nadera house and on the roadside, was rushed to the hospital however she was pronounced dead on arrival.
He surrendered himself to police.
Lolohea has been remanded in custody and will appear in the Suva High Court on the 31st of March.
