The people of Korovou and surrounding areas will soon have an up-to-standard health facility as the Lodoni Health Centre is in its completion stage.
The Health Ministry says the old Lodoni Health Centre was destroyed by a fire almost seven years ago, and this new construction is co-designed by the contractor, New Zealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Health Ministry so that it is fit for practice and is fit for purpose.
They say the New Zealand Government has invested more than $350,000 into this project.
The Ministry says with the Duavata partnership firmly in place, Fiji’s health sector is hoping to build on this unique bilateral relationship and explore investment opportunities from New Zealand to strengthen Fiji’s health needs.
