Diogo Jota scored twice as Liverpool thrashed Southampton 4-0 to move up to second in the English Premier League table, one point behind leaders Chelsea.
Thiago Alcántara and Virgil van Dijk scored the other two goals for Liverpool.
Chelsea is leading the table with 29 points, Liverpool has 28 points while Manchester City in third place has 26 points.
In other matches this morning, Arsenal beat Newcastle 2-0, Aston Villa beat Crystal Palace 2-1, Norwich – Wolves and Brighton – Leeds finished their respective matches at nil all.
