Mohamed Salah scored twice as Liverpool eventually broke down a resilient Newcastle United by 4-2 to open up a three-point lead at the top of the Premier League.
Both teams were locked nil-all at halftime.
Mohamed Salah, Cody Gapko and Curtis Jones scored for Liverpool while Alexander Isak and Sven Botman scored for New Castle.
Liverpool is currently leading the table with 45 points followed by Aston Villa with 42 points, while Manchester City is in third place with 40 points, Arsenal is in fourth place with 40 points and Tottenham at fifth place with 39 points.
