Lockington says that she was determined to win gold this year and thanked her coach and sister, Shawntell Lockington for pushing her to better her jumps during training leading up to the Coke Games.
Lisa’s elder sister, Shawntell Lockington broke a 32-year-old record in the Junior Girls High Jump in the Coca‑Cola Games 2017 and currently holds the national record of 1.71 metres while the old record was 1.62 metres set way back in 1985.
