Sereima Leweniqila has been juggling work and training as she aims to fulfill her dream of representing the Fijiana at this year’s Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
She captained the Fijiana team when they made history and qualified for their first ever Rugby World Cup.
Leweniqila says she is aware that no space is guaranteed and she is working hard so that she makes the final squad.
She says one area they are working hard to improve is their fitness and they are learning a lot every day.
The 30-year-old is from Macuata and is a loans officer with Westpac.
She says she has been playing rugby since she was 19.
The 2021 Rugby World Cup will be held in New Zealand from September and Fiji is pooled with South Africa, England and France.
