Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum

Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says if someone feels that they received rotten items during the Suva and Nausori food distribution then they should let them know and it will be replaced.

A video is circulating on facebook where a man from Nadali claims that the rice he received during the distribution was rotten.

While speaking in Parliament today, Sayed-Khaiyum says the person who is circulating the video is not showing his or her face, name or even the address.

He says if the person is genuine then he should just contact the Ministry.

Sayed-Khaiyum adds by circulating that the rice is bad and not coming forward would mean that the person is perhaps disingenuous.
