Fiji Roads Authority says that the Kasavu Bailey Bridge that is currently being assembled will accommodate legal load limits when the bridge opens to traffic in May.
Chief Executive Officer John Hutchinson says the load limit varies for each vehicle type and that heavy vehicle operators should understand the Gross Vehicle Weight of their vehicles.
He says work is already underway at Kasavu and they are working to have Kings Road open to traffic by 15th May or earlier.
