Flick Hygiene Lautoka are the new Rooster Chicken/Scoops Ice Cream Battle of the Giants champion after beating Smart & Efficient Security Services/Calgary Nadi 2-0 in the final at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Saula Waqa scored through a penalty in the 64th minute, while Sairusi Nalaubu sealed the deal in the 81st minute.

Lautoka last won the title in 2016.

Team President Shailendra Prasad says the team lost their first game in the tournament games which was a good slap on their faces but they prepared well.

He says they wanted to win the BOG title as they are the Fiji FACT champion and will be hosting the IDC tournament as well.

Prasad adds the team knew how to break Nadi's defence and also knew what had to be done.
