Lautoka City Council to meet today with Police about increased cases of people drinking alcohol in public

An urgent meeting has been organised for today between the CEO of Lautoka City Council Jone Nakauvadra and the Western Division Police Commander.

This follows reports from members of the public about the increased cases of people drinking alcohol in public places in Lautoka City.

When questioned about Shirley Park becoming a drinking spot in the evenings, Nakauvadra says that this is why they have called for the meeting as people are raising their concern.
