The Hurricanes drought-breaking 34-32 win over the Crusaders in Christchurch on Saturday has come at a huge cost with two players suffering potential competition-ending injuries.
Centre Ngani Laumape and prop Fraser Armstrong will both see specialists this week.
Laumape injured his forearm.
Centre Peter Umaga-Jensen will also undergo concussion testing this week.
In Super Rugby Aotearoa this week, the Chiefs will take on the Crusaders at 7.05pm Saturday and Highlanders will face the Blues at 3.35pm Sunday.
