The Lau Education Charitable Trust will be holding a fundraising this Saturday at the Vodafone Arena to raise funds for educational financial support for the children of Lau.
Through this fundraising, the Charitable Trust will also provide school kits in every school back on the island.
The Lau Education Trust Committee says the fundraising will also focus on Sustainable Development Goal 4, where they aspire to pave the way for a brighter future for generations to come.
The Committee is also aiming to collaborate with the government of the day and various stakeholders to ensure every child in Lau has access to quality education.
The fundraising will be held at the Vodafone Arena at 5pm, and the President, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, will be the chief guest.
