The Fiji Elections Office has moved the last batch of ballot papers from STAR Printery in Raiwai to the FEO’s Headquarters yesterday afternoon.
764,850 ballot papers had been printed altogether with 20,000 ballot papers for postal voting, 92,000 ballot papers were prepared for Pre-polling and 652,450 ballot papers were prepared for voting day.
Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says that they had always invited political party representatives whenever they were moving the ballot papers.
Saneem adds that on Sunday they will start packing the sensitive materials for pre-polling.
Pre-polling will begin on the 5th of November at 589 venues through out the country.
