Two homes of individuals believed to be receivers of stolen property were raided by the Central Crime and Criminal Investigations Department Operations, where one person is in custody.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations Livai Driu says the raids were conducted in a settlement in Tamavua and Toorak, whereby several laptops, a camera and assorted items, all believed to have been stolen, were seized.
ACP Driu says the raids were consistent with divisional efforts of dismantling the markets of stolen items as a means of countering the offences of theft and robbery.
The Central Division Crime Unit is calling on anyone who recognises the items to call 9905521 for more information.
