Despite finishing third in Pool C, the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side is expected to deliver when they take on France at 5am tomorrow in the cup quarterfinal of the Langford 7s in Canada.
The side finished as the third best qualifier from their pool after thrashing England 38-5, losing to USA 19-20 and registering a 12-12 draw with hot favourites New Zealand.
Olympians Alowesi Nakoci, Sesenieli Donu and Reapi Ulunisau continue to lead by example for Fijiana as they finished Day 1 with impressive stats.
Nakoci is the third highest try scorer with 4 tries in the tournament, putting her as the fourth highest points-scorer with 20.
Donu leads the defensive stats with 11 completed tackles while Ulunisau is in the top 10 for line-breaks.
Discipline remains good for the Fijiana 7s after they gave away 10 penalties in three pool games.
Coach, Saiasi Fuli has utilised his bench well, with impact players Raijieli Daveua, Lavenia Cavuru, Mereula Toro'oti and Laisana Likuceva all scoring tries after coming on as substitutes.
The cup quarters will see Fiji playing France, New Zealand will take on Canada, Ireland will meet USA and Australia will play France.
The cup quarter-finals starts at 5am tomorrow with the semi-finals kicking off at 8.50am tomorrow.
The final will be played at 11.58am tomorrow.
