Land identified for new Nausori Hospital to be built - AG

The Minister for Economy, Aiyaz Sayed‑Khaiyum has confirmed that another piece of land has been identified where the new Nausori Hospital will be built.

Sayed‑Khaiyum confirmed this at the Budget Roadshow in Vunimono High School last night.

Sayed-Khaiyum says that they are hoping to finalise the new land very soon as they have now diverted from the proposed plan in Vunivivi.

The Minister for Economy says that the Vunivivi land was in a hilly place and they had opted for another land as it is in a flat place and will allow for more synergies.

Meanwhile, Sayed-Khaiyum has also confirmed that the two Dialysis Centres which are yet to be set up in the country will be based in Nadera and Nadi.
