There is a need for landowning disputes to be settled quickly and amicably.
These are the sentiments of Leveni Wainiqolo the acting manager of Humes Industries in Lautoka as the company deals with having to look for suppliers of fine sand after their current suppliers in Sigatoka stopped supplying as they try to settle a dispute amongst landowners.
Wainiqolo said there is no shortage of supply of fine sand however the price to pay for the outstanding dispute is the quality of sand that they are buying from suppliers outside of Sigatoka.
Wainiqolo added leaving disputes unsettled for long is not good for business.
