The Lami Town Council has given a proposal for a million dollar upgrade of Johnny Singh Park to the government.
Special Administrator, Jasper Singh says the proposal focuses on developing an international standard sporting ground for the park.
He says they requested close to $2 million for the project.
Singh says this would be a vital development for Lami and they are confident that government will consider their proposal.
