Wallabies flanker Lachlan Swinton's Tri-Nations campaign has come to an end after he was handed a four-week suspension for his high tackle on All Black Sam Whitelock last weekend.
SANZAAR confirmed that Swinton has received the suspension after pleading guilty to contravening Law 9.13: A player must not tackle an opponent early, late or dangerously.
The Foul Play Review Committee has accepted a guilty plea from Swinton and his suspension has been reduced from six weeks to four.
All Blacks prop Ofa Tuungafasi who was also shown a red-card last week will learn his fate today.
The All Blacks will meet Argentina at 6.10pm this Saturday.
