Labasa College has created history after qualifying for the Digicel Fiji Secondary School IDC Boys U19 final for the first time.
They beat Tavua College 5-4 in penalty after a 1-1 full time score.
Labasa College coach, Roneel Ram says their sacrifices have paid off.
He says they have never been to the quarter or the semi final and this is the first time they are through to the final.
Ram says they were conscious of the speed the Tavua College team possessed and ensured their links were doing their job.
The coach says they will go back and analyse their match tonight before their final against Kamil Muslim College tomorrow.
Kamil Muslim will take on Labasa College in the final of the Digicel Fiji Secondary School IDC Boys U19 grade.
Defending champion, Xavier College were beaten 1-0 by Kamil Muslim College in the first semi final.
Kamil College coach, Ashif Khan says the players defended really well, they had a game plan and the players have been listening to him.
Khan says they last won the Secondary School IDC in 2015 and are looking forward to a victory tomorrow.
The U19 final is at midday tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Labasa Sangam College will take on Vashisht Muni College in the U17 final at 8am while Labasa College will face Lautoka Central College in the U15 final at 9.20am.
In the girls open grade final defending champion Xavier College will take on Ba Sanatan College at 10.40am tomorrow.
Xavier beat Ba Sangam College 2-0 in the while Ba Sanatan beat All Saints Secondary School 1-0 in the semi final.
Xavier College made a clean sweep last year after winning all the grades.
The girls open grade final is at 10.40am tomorrow.
All matches will be played at Subrail Park tomorrow.
