Maharaj says the new CEO of LTA is expected to arrive into the country in the next few weeks.
LTA’s Chairman says he cannot give any further information until the person arrives into the country.
The LTA Board had engaged an international recruitment agency to find the best person for the position.
The Land Transport Authority has been without a CEO for a year.
Carmine Piantedosi had resigned as the CEO of LTA in November last year after just working for seven months.
