The Land Transport Authority will be accepting M-PAiSA as a payment option for all transactions at their branch offices from next Tuesday.
LTA CEO, Samuel Simpson says this measure is not just about convenience for Fijians but it is also meant to reduce corruption, as acts like bribery is less likely to happen if they move away from cash-based transactions.
Simpson says they plan to provide more streamlined and convenient options for people who wish to access LTA services or make payments in the future.
He says they will be providing updates on new measures as they proceed.
