LTA report to explain fatal Pacific Harbour bus crash

Police are expected to receive a report from the Land Transport Authority tomorrow which will have a detailed explanation about the bus which went off the road and tumbled in Waidradra, Pacific Harbour on Friday afternoon.

A woman lost her life in this accident.

Police Spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri says there have been allegations that the driver was speeding and that one of the tyres had burst.

He says they will wait for the report from LTA.

A man is still admitted in a serious condition at the CWM hospital who sustained injuries in this accident.

Meanwhile, the driver of the hit and run case in Labasa who was arrested yesterday has been questioned and released.

He was apprehended by Police when he was trying to purchase some parts for his vehicle.

A five year old boy died in this accident in Wailevu village at around 10.30 on Friday night.

Inia Masiavani was trying to cross the road when he was hit by a vehicle.
