The Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women have bounced back from their loss to the Waratahs last week to secure a 19-5 win over the Western Force Women in round 3 of the Super Rugby Women competition at Churchill Park, Lautoka this afternoon.

The Drua scored two tries through flanker Sulita Waisega and winger Adita Milinia and a conversion through fullback Luisa Tisolo to lead 12-0 heading into the break.

The visitors came back strongly in the second half to score an unconverted try in the corner to close the gap to 12-5.

The Drua put the final nail to the coffin with a converted try to Merewai Cumu.

The Drua received three yellow cards today but showed determination in defence to prevent the Force from taking advantage.

Meanwhile, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Men also secured their third home win of the season after beating the Force 31-13.

In another women’s match played today, the Waratahs beat the Rebels 38-17.

The Reds Women will play the Brumbies Women at 6.05pm tonight.
