LA 7s takes a small break as thunder and lightning in the area

World Rugby has announced that the HSBC Los Angeles 7s is taking a small break in on-field proceedings as thunder and lightning are occurring in the area.

The game is currently on match 9, with Great Britain taking on Spain.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Men’s national 7s side thrashed Japan 50-0 in their first pool match this morning.

Iowane Teba scored four tries, while Pilipo Bukayaro, Waisea Nacuqu, Manueli Maisamoa and Rokoua Rasaku scored a try each.

Fiji will meet Kenya in their second pool match before playing Australia in their final pool match.

The cup quarter-finals will begin at 6.23 am tomorrow, the cup semi-finals will start at 10.14 am tomorrow, and the cup final will be at 1.28 pm tomorrow.
