The Uruguay rugby 7s side has created history after defeating Dubai 7s champions, South Africa, 10-5 in their second pool match of the HSBC Los Angeles 7s.
South Africa started strong, with Ronald Brown crossing over the try line after 3 minutes of play.
The Blitzbokers led 5-0 at half-time.

Uruguay rallied back in the second half with tries from Mateo Vinals and Bautista Basso.
South Africa will need to win against Ireland and hope Canada beat Uruguay in their final pool matches this afternoon to claim a spot in the cup quarter-finals.
The cup quarter-finals will begin at 6.23am tomorrow, the cup semi-finals will start at 10.14am tomorrow, and the cup final will be at 1.28 pm tomorrow.
