Ghana boxer, Joseph Kwadjo knocked out Joy the Jet Ali in the second round last night in the upgraded WBF Super Middle Weight Interim World Champion title fight.
Ali had no reply to Kwadjo’s heavy punches and it did not take long for Ali come down jeopardizing his boxing career.
With the win last night, Kwadjo will now get the opportunity to contest for the WBF World Super Middle Weight Title against Switzerland’s Francesco Passa-nante that will be determined by the World Boxing Federation.
This world title fight will be the first ever for a boxer from Fiji.
Meanwhile, in the main supporting bout Junior Farzan Ali beat Samoa’s Oli Fili Maua on point’s difference.
In other bouts, Sakiasi Dakua and Paula Tuila fight ended with a draw, Mohammed Shameem knocked Ritesh Goundar in the second round and Krishna Mudaliar beat Arshad Khan on point’s difference.
