Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Ben Gollings says the inclusion of Semi Kunatani into the extended 7s squad is great for the team.
Gollings says Kunatani is an experienced player with brilliant skill sets.
He says Kunatani’s inclusion is not just good for him but also for players around him to learn from his experience.
However, Gollings says Kunatani has got a bit of a way to go since he has just come back from an injury.
The 2016 Rio Olympics gold medalist featured for the Heart Barbarians in the first leg of the Fun Flavour Super Sevens series.
The lanky forward made his debut for the Fiji 7s team in the 2013 Dubai 7s and became an integral part of the squad before signing a professional contract with Toulouse in 2015.
He returned to play for Fiji at the Olympics in 2016 and has also featured several times for the Fiji 15s side.
