The Digicel Fiji Kulas are expecting a tough challenge this weekend when they take on PNG in their second pool A match in the 2024 women’s Olympic Qualifiers in Samoa.
After their comfortable 10-0 victory over American Samoa yesterday, Kulas rep Cema Nasau says they are treating every game as a final and PNG will be a tough opponent.
Nasau acknowledged the team’s performance yesterday and she hopes they maintain that form throughout the tournament.
Nasau and Sofi Diyalowai each scored a hat trick in yesterday’s win while Koleta Likuculacula, Kasanita Tabua, Preeya Singh and Unaisi Tuberi scored a goal each.
The Kulas will face Papua New Guinea on Saturday at 2pm.
