Kuki starts with a blast at FM96 Birthday Bash

Fiji's top singer and songwriter, Kuki had the crowd dancing and singing at the FM96 Birthday Bash on the Fiji Showcase Vodafone External Entertainment Stage.

He headlined the show mixing some of his older singles with some older Fijian classics that had people grooving to the beat.

The song that had everyone singing and grooving along to was his rendition of 4 Non Blondes 'What's Up' from his new EP 'Noqu Vanua' that he dropped last Friday.

Also perfoming was One Crew from Cunningham with their hit songs Sere Qo and Hamaza.

YoungBlood had the crowd rocking when they opened their set with Canada quickly followed by Farmer which had the crowd singing their lyrics back to them.

As if that was not enough, the band surprised the crowd by dropping their new track 'Vakava'.

FM96 personalities Aisea and Esther also got their turn to shine on the stage when they kicked off the show with two covers.

Gates to Fiji Showcase open at 10am today.

Kicking things off on the Vodafone External Entertainment Stage are the Vou Dance Fiji at 11.30am before some members of the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua team make an appearance at 12pm.

Australia based Samoan dance group, Mr.Mr then perform at 1pm followed by Vude Queen Laisa Vulakoro at 1.30pm.

On the Goodman Fielder Internal Entertainment Stage, the Paw Patrol Mascots will be doing their walk about from 10.30am followed by Piva the Brazilian magician and juggler at midday.

The Vou Island Adventures Show is on from 12.30pm.

Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for children under the age of 12.
