Kristine Rabua is expecting to earn enough money for Christmas through her wooden Christmas frames and decorations that she has made herself from scrap material.
Rabua started her business – The Magic Spot last week and says using recycled materials and her innovative ideas reflect great effort.
She says she had a lot of scrap material at home and came up with the idea to use it to make decorations this festive season.
Rabua further says she has been running a baking business for the last 12 years and plans to expand her Christmas decoration business and incorporate tapa and traditional iTaukei designs.
She hopes to set up a shop by next year and run both her businesses in Suva to earn a living.
Rabua has been selling the decorations online and from her home.
