Roy Krishna has created history by becoming the first Fijian to score in the Asian Football Confederation Cup as his side ATK Mohun Bagan beat Bengaluru FC 2-0 in their opening match this morning in Maldives.
Krishna who captained the side, gave ATK the lead with a well taken header in the first half.
He was also named as man of the match.
ATK will now play Maldivian club Maziya in their second match at 4am Sunday.
The winner of the tournament will qualify for the 2022 AFC Champions League.
