Konousi sells food at Raiwaqa/Raiwai Market Day to support family

25-year-old Loreta Konousi from Raiwaqa who is one of the vendors at the Raiwaqa/Raiwai Market Day says she is selling food to help her father and uncle who are the breadwinners for the family and are on reduced hours due to COVID-19.

Konousi and her aunts are selling lovo packs and baked goods such as cupcakes and doughnuts.

She says there are 15 members in her family and with her father and uncle being on reduced hours, she wants to help generate income and assist them in buying groceries.

Konousi is encouraging people to be part of the market day to support their families during this difficult phase.

Meanwhile, there are 30 stalls at the Raiwaqa/ Raiwai Market Day and it is an initiative to help families generate income for their families during COVID-19.

The market day will be open till 5pm today.
